Presentation video / Singlelayer structures

Singlelayer structures, gridshells or what is also known as membrane structures are used to cover diaphanous spaces with great transparency.

The structure is made of a maze of rectangular profiles and steel hubs contained in just one layer or membrane. This provides for the creation of free forms, getting the best of the structural work in membrane.

Unlike conventional structures, singlelayers are entirely manufactured in the shop, which is a huge advantage as far as precision and quality are concerned, both during manufacture and on-site assembly afterward.
